HOMEFIELD ROAD, BROMLEY, KENT, BR1
Completed in 2009, the development comprises the conversion of an existing attic space and the general refurbishment of the ground and first floor levels of a four bedroom period family house. General repairs to the existing building fabric have enabled this semi-detached property to be sensitively restored, while retaining the existing features and essence of the house.
Located within a predominantly residential area, the traditional roof extension features two large dormers towards the rear, including a small balcony, and facilitates one large master bedroom and an en-suite shower room. An existing study at first floor level has been sacrificed to create a lobby and makes room for a new solid oak staircase which remains open on arrival to the new loft space above. In-built oak shelving units form part of the staircase and the room beyond.
A new kitchen and larder were introduced at ground floor level.
